It is also advisable to take note of the following:

Try to wear loose fitting clothes after a waxing, especially on the legs

Avoid all heat treatments eg. sunbathing, sun beds, steam rooms and saunas for about 24 hours after a waxing

Avoid swimming in a public pool as chlorine can irritate freshly waxed skin

Avoid perfumes on the waxed area

Avoid a hot bath or shower after a waxing

Avoid applying makeup to a waxed area

Try to avoid touching a recently waxed area
