Quality Control
The sourcing and quality control of all of our essential oils is supervised by our biochemist Chris Callaghan, who has an Honours degree in Biochemistry (York 1973). He also has 30 years experience of analytical chemistry, project development and quality control using Gas Liquid Chromatography (GLC).
He is Managing Director of Common Scents (Aromatherapy Supplies), which he founded in 1994. For 8 years he has worked to establish Common Scents as suppliers of essential oils of the highest quality by buying only from the most reputable suppliers and contracting quality assurance only to analysts of integrity and national repute.
Each component essential oil, and every blend of essential oils has his personal guarantee of quality.

"All blended essential oils used in Natural Aromas products are very complex mixtures of individual essential oils. These are all natural plant extracts that are controlled to the highest levels of purity.
Each individual essential oil is sourced from a known, approved supplier, and subjected to physical and chemical testing to ensure that it is an essential oil of the highest quality, free of adulteration or contamination.
Our clinical Aromatherapy expert Chris Katsis, who has over 30 years experience in the blending of essential oils, has personally developed and field-tested all the blends that we use.
They are blended
with the care usually associated with an expensive perfume, but
with therapy rather than fragrance in mind.
The blended oils
we use in our products are unique in the market place.
The blends have been subjected to every test and evaluation imaginable over the years, from the clinical to the spiritual and, in every case and on every level, they have been found to be effective.
Combining the skills of our clinical Aromatherapist together with the buying and testing expertise of our biochemist, you can be sure that there is no compromise in the production of the blends we use.
The individual oils used are brought from a pool of over 90 suppliers on the basis of therapeutic soundness and not just “purity”.
Although the essential oils used in the making of our blends are retailed to therapists, we do not wholesale and are therefore not obliged to compete with the range or price offered by wholesalers who are sometimes obliged to compromise on quality in order to maintain their market position as wholesalers of a full range of oils at competitive prices.
With the oil blends we use, you can be sure that you are getting the best oils combined in unique ways for one sole purpose, to make a positive difference to the health and wellbeing of the end user...... you !!!
