This involves
the application of water-heated basalt stones of varying sizes to key points
of the body providing a deep massage, but still creating sensations of comfort
and warmth. Heat relaxes the muscles and, when applied directly, allows
greater manipulation and a more intense massage. These are applied to the limbs,
back, neck and shoulders.
Hot stones massage, can include the use of cold
stones too. By alternating temperature between warm relaxation and the freshness
of cool marble stone, this has been proven to benefit the body greatly.
This type of massage is idea for insomnia, depression, stress, anxiety or tension,
MS, rheumatic or arthritic conditions, back pain and poor circulation.
Hot stones massage
can be done with or without essential oils.
